Club History

The Kiwanis Club of Campbell was chartered as one of 7,700 clubs in 80 countries in 1916. Our motto is "Serving the Children of the World".

Originally founded by District Educators,  City of Campbell Officials, Captains of Industry and Visionaries who saw the need to foster development and serve the children of the community.  Fast forward over 90 years, the make up of The Kiwanis Club of Campbell is still Educators, City Officials, Captains of Industry, Local Leaders, Retiree's, Students and men and women of all backgrounds reaching out to make a difference in the lives of our children and community.

I am Kiwanis

Whether it's feeding the local elementary school children,  hosting the bay areas largest Easter Egg Hunt, our famous float in the Easter and Veterans Day Parades, funding and mentoring overlooked but well deserving students through our "TAS" Turn Around Scholarship, reaching out and hosting with bay area Kiwanis Clubs a "Special Games" for special needs athletes who don't qualify for Special Olymics to our annual Downtown Campbell Carol of Lights Christmas Themed street festival, you'll find the Kiwanis Club of Campbell everywhere making a difference.

You'd think we do this for the children, and we do, although the joy and sense of fulfillment we get back is immeasurable and a compelling reason to be part of our community and Kiwanis family.
